One word popped to mind when I pulled the HOLD Changing Bags by Nest Designs Ayla Tote from its box: gorgeous. I’ve never had any bag this nice, much less a baby bag! I couldn’t wait to load it up and take it out.
This is a very well-made, high-end bag. It has a stylish canvas construction with chic, genuine leather accents and gold hardware. The inside is an easy-to-wipe-clean, polyester lining. It’s an exceptionally attractive bag, in my opinion.
It’s functional, too: There are pockets both on the inside and the outside, and a changing pad is included. The top zips closed, which is essential when you’ve got a zillion baby-related things floating around in your bag. (Can you imagine all that stuff spilling out if it got knocked over?) In addition, it’s a great size—perfect for holding all you need without being so oversized that everything gets lost inside or it becomes cumbersome to carry.
I love the strap options on the Ayla. In addition to the regular handles, there is a detachable shoulder strap that is adjustable. It’s great to have two different carry options since each day is a little different when you’re a mom. There are also stroller straps, so you can secure your bag to your stroller when you’re out with your family. One other addition I love is the attached key fob. I’m forever losing my keys and securing them to the inside of my bag with this fob has made my life much easier.
The tote comes with a bag for storage, so your pretty new friend can stay in great shape even when it is not in use. Mine hasn’t made it there yet because I use it every day! Overall, I would definitely recommend this tote to someone in the market for a great diaper bag. It’s very nice, and I get compliments on it all the time. Plus, it’s worked great for carrying our stuff and has held up very well. Two thumbs up, five stars, whatever … the Ayla is a winner in my book!
